Power of ROUTINE

If you are on any social media platform, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn then you must have come across a lot of motivational quotes or videos. But unfortunately, it does not work, it might work sometimes when you are feeling too low but the rest of the time it does not.

On account of any influencer majority of the feed will be full of motivation, even though many of them are really good at what they do, their content is genuine and their advice is practical but the rest of the motivation stuff fails to motivate you.

Why does motivational video doesn’t work?

Motivation is just a feeling, no feeling lasts forever. Just like eating food once satisfies your hunger but that does not mean you will never have to eat food again.

You get pumped up while watching a motivational video because the speaker is charismatic, background music is powerful and the video is perfectly edited which is like a cherry on top.

But when you are back to reality, when you start working again nothing works. This is because now you have to work. Compared to where you just have to sit back on your couch and watch the video which pumps you up, now you have to grind and work like hell.

What is the solution?

Simple, be practical and follow a routine. Stop killing time on motivational video, figure out what you want to do and make a list of things that will help you get one step closer toward that goal. That’s it! A routine is the most powerful thing to learn or achieve something.

Imagine if you want to reduce fat or build muscle and you watch a motivational video and go to the gym only once. Will it work?

Obviously NO.

Yes it is boring sometimes and it is fine to take a break, but it is the routine that will help you get results in the long run.
